Update - 4th October 2008

Dear gamma98er's
 
The reunion is now just 3 weeks away so we thought we had better update you on the arrangements for the day. 
 
First of all we've had a great response and at last count about 120 people are going.  That means the pressure is off now we've surpassed our quota and we won't lose our deposit ,so the very, very last day for anyone who is still undecided is Friday 17th October.  Please have your cheques with completed forms sent in to the address on the form.
 
 
The dinner is of course at the Grosvenor on Great Western Rd.
 
Drinks reception at 7pm in the Terrace Bar with dinner being served at 7.30.  Carriages at 1 am.  Dress is formal. There are no tickets needed.
 
There is a band and then a DJ afterwards.  Please send any requests  for songs that remind you of your student years and we'll try to get them played.
 
Could anyone wishing a vegetarian option please inform us.
 
If you wish to forward any preferred table seating plans for you and your friends please do so otherwise just pick a seat on the night.  Maximum 10 per table.
 
For those of you that are interested we have also hired out an area of BoBar (downstairs bar of the Grosvenor, Byres Rd entrance) from 1pm in the afternoon for anyone who wants to bring their kids along and meet up for lunch (not paid for and you don't have to have kids to come either).   
 
If anyone is interested in playing 5-a-sides in the morning, tell us and we'll try and book some pitches and then perhaps meet up with everyone else in BoBar for lunch afterwards.
 
Finally if anyone is up for a "quiet" drink on the Friday night, we wondered about meeting up at Oran Mor (corner of Great Western Rd. and Byres Rd, opposite the Grosvenor) at 9pm.  We all plan to be there.
